Creative Futures: Roy Williams interviewed by Harry Derbyshire at Woolwich Works

In a new collaboration between Woolwich Works and the University of Greenwich, this series of interviews offers an opportunity to hear from industry professionals working across the Creative Arts today. Each event will provide an insight into the sector, explore some of its challenges and ask what we might need to prepare to work in the industry and how we can shape its future in the decades to come.

Roy Williams is an award-winning playwright whose work has been performed at theatres including the Lyric Hammersmith, Royal Court Theatre and the National Theatre. Williams has also written for Radio and for TV and Film for the BBC, Channel 4 and Sky. Here he talks to Harry Derbyshire about a career spanning three decades and writing across forms, including his recent Death of England (National Theatre/Sky Arts) trilogy.

Each talk will be followed by networking in the Visitors' Book Café, to help connect guests and share opportunities for collaboration.
