Shakespeare’s romantic comedy of mistaken identity is both hilarious and heart-breaking. Twins Viola and Sebastian are separated in a shipwreck on a strange shore. Oblivious to whether her brother has survived Viola sets out to explore this new land and is caught up in a heady confusion of misplaced passion and unrequited love. Max Key is an award-winning director. His production of It’s Easy to be Dead was nominated for an Olivier Award and Off-West End Award and his production of The Glass Piano at the Coronet Theatre in Notting Hall, London was nominated for an Off-West End Award. Twelfth Night will be performed by a company of 19 actors and is a great opportunity to see emerging talent from one of the UK’s top Drama Schools. Graduates of this course include the Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild winner Claire Foy (The Crown, Women Talking), Maimuna Menon, nominated for Best Supporting Role in a Musical at this year’s Olivier Awards for Standing At the Sky’s Edge at the National Theatre and Jude Owusu very recently in the award-winning production of To Kill a Mockingbird at the Gielgud Theatre in London.
