LA Opera’s James Conlon conducts and James Darrah directs an all-new production of Mozart’s brilliantly comedic and profoundly moving The Marriage of Figaro. The 1786 collaboration with librettist Lorenzo da Ponte celebrates love and passion amid the rising strength and self-awareness of the bourgeoisie. Rich characters are brought to life by the 2018 Music Academy of the West Vocal fellows and an innovative design team performing alongside the Academy Festival Orchestra.
Tickets may also be available from the Music Academy of the West at (805) 969-8787 or online through their website.
