City Lights Theater hosts a fundraising cabaret for B.A.D. Musical Theatre. The event features a live band and local actors belting out songs from rock musicals including Green Day's American Idiot, Rent and Richard O'Brien's The Rocky Horror Show. Performers: Vivienne Castillo, Naomi Evans, Vivienne Truong, David Sandhu, Sage Alberto, Emery Bacon, Brooklyn Page Torres, Deborah Feisa and Cordelia Larsen. Band: Christopher Hewitt (keyboard), Thinh Nguyen (guitar), Tommy Calamia (bass) and Mike Fullerton (drums). The B.A.D. stands for Bay Area Diversity, and this company is devoted to showing audiences that colors, sizes, genders, beliefs and abilities should never stand in the way of artists' desires to tell a story and make an impact.
