RALEIGH, NC - Burning Coal Theatre Company is proud to announce the second play of our 25th anniversary (2021 2022) season. The play in question is The Road to Mecca by Athol Fugard (December 2 19, 2021),Based on the true story of the South African artist, Miss Helen, who began to create sculptures late in her life, determined that her voice would finally be heard. All performances of The Road to Mecca will be held at Burning Coal, 224 Polk Street, Raleigh, NC 27604. Performances run from Thursdays through Saturdays at 7:30 pm and Sundays at 2 pm. The Road to Mecca will run from December 2 to December 19, 2021. All tickets are $25, $20 for seniors (65+) or $15 for students, teachers, and active military.
