VISIONS Contemporary Ballet, an ethnically diverse contemporary ballet company rooted in African American heritage, performs three thought-provoking works by Founder/Artistic Director Ranardo-Domeico Grays in Redemption, expressing hope of deliverance from prejudice, sufferance and faithlessness. Redemption features the premiere of Tainted Bla’k, a celebration of the beauty of being Black, set to music that is inspirational, positive and has powerful messages of Blackness, composed by artists of the African Diaspora.
