Please Ship This Wet Gift is one clown's interactive presentation about terrible feelings, and provides an opportunity for family audiences to laugh together about feeling bad. Everyone can go home when she thinks you're prepared! This original work uses audience suggestion & participation, drawing, made-up songs, puppetry, and cardboard sharks to explore dealing with the things in life that are unfair, scary, sad, and just really annoying. The show melds smarty-pants clown theater with expert puppetry to bring compassion and lightness to the heavy stuff. This 65-minute performance for family audiences runs on Saturdays throughout October at 1 PM and 3 PM at The Tank. Brave Bucket makes puppet and/or clown theater for family and adult audiences. Our work has received support from the Jim Henson Foundation, and our members have worked in puppetry for over 10 years, doing fancy stuff like training at Sesame Street, performing with Mabou Mines, and teaching with The New Victory Theater. bravebucket.com
