Live Arts in downtown Charlottesville is proud to present the award-winning musical VIOLET, a soaring musical pilgrimage featuring music by Jeanine Tesori and lyrics and book by Brian Crawley. Based on “The Ugliest Pilgrim” by Doris Betts, VIOLET follows the captivating journey of a young woman hoping to transform her life on a Greyhound bus journey from North Carolina to Oklahoma in 1964. VIOLET at Live Arts is presented by Latitude 38 and sponsored by Woodard Properties. The show is directed and choreographed by Perry Medlin with musical direction by Katherine Nies, Graeme Rosner, and Laura Collier. CAST PRODUCTION TEAM
