cbp:LLC Announces Auditions for a Rodgers and Hammerstein Musical Concert
cbp:LLC (Cherry Blossom Players) began to rehearse for their first show in the summer of 2005 as a fundraiser for a flooded church. Over six years later they are now a non profit organization. With a commitment to have four main stage shows a year as well as many other fundraisers, this young group has high expectations for the future. Past shows include Tuesdays With Morrie, Annie Get Your Gun, Cabaret and Rent to name a few.

Please note: If you audition on Tuesday and are called back you will have a short amount of time to prepare for the second audition. Come prepared to dance as well as sing a second song of the casting staffs choice.

Character Analysis:
2 male leading roles
3 female leading roles
4 supporting company roles
Principal Character Breakdown:
Baritone- Leading Male
Tenor- Comedic Supporting Male
Soprano- Leading Female
Soprano 2- Comic Ingenue
Alto- Soubrette and Dancer
Supporting Character requirements:
2 male and 2 female company members. Must be able to sing harmonies on ensemble songs as well as have a knowledge of basic dance. No formal training required for roles.
Audition Requirements:
To be considered for a principal role in the show you must come prepared with a song from Rodgers and Hammerstein’s A Grand Night For Singing. The song choice must be a solo number by the character you are choosing to audition for. If you are called back you may be asked to do some choreography as well as a prepared number given by the director and production team. Any questions or concerns please email
