MARYLAND AUDITION NOTICE

Q - The Legend

Saturday, August 17, 2013 from 12pm – 6pm by APPOINTMENT ONLY
Looking for dancers, singers, musicians, production team and crew. For more information, please email uvofjhmi@aol.com

Dancers - Be proficient in jazz and modern dance. You will be taught a combination from the show. Male and female are all encouraged to audition!

Singers - a list of songs can be obtained by emailing uvofjhmi@aol.com. Looking for unique distinctive diverse styles.
(Male) Searching for the James Ingram, Al B. Sure, El DeBarge, Barry White, Michael Jackson sound. Must be able to hold tight harmonies
(Female) Searching for early Aretha Franklin, Tamia, Lesley Gore, and solid gospel belters. Must be able to hold tight harmonies
(Youth) Tevin Campbell, Brandy style


Musicians - Looking for Trumpets (Flugel), Trombones, Sax (Tenor, Altodouble as flute, clarinet), Flutes (double as piccolo), piano players, drummers, percussionist. Drum set (basic) and piano will be provided. When you send in your e-mail, please put the instrument(s) that you will play on that day. You will be required to do a cold read of sheet music in your concentration(s). All levels are encouraged to audition.


What to bring:
Your bubbly bright energetic personality. Need a group of performers that not only like to perform but can really dive into telling a story through song and dance. Headshot and resume staples together. Singers - please email for a list of songs to choose from. Dancers - bring dance (jazz) shoe and dress to show your figure.
