Auditions for
Plaid Tidings at the CLO Cabaret at Theater Square, directed and choreographed by Guy Stroman. Principals must be available October 21, 2013 – January 12, 2014.
Who
A cast of four men ages 20’s to 30’s that can sing close, four-part harmony in the style of the “guy groups” of the late 1950s/early 1960s (The Four Lads, The Hi-Los, The Four Aces); the style is not do-wop or 50s-60s rock. The solo material is in the style of the popular singers of that period (i.e. Perry Como, Johnny Mathis).
JINX: High Tenor
FRANKIE: Tenor/High Baritone
SPARKY: Baritone/Tenor
SMUDGE: Bass/Baritone

Requirements
· Auditioners should prepare two songs of their best material; one uptempo and one ballad. Bring legible sheet music in the correct key.
