Park Theatre To Hold Auditions For
Their New Commercial
Screen tests will be conducted at Team Jaffrey’s RiverFest this weekend, 7/29.
Would you like to be in a commercial? Your dream could come true thanks to The Park Theatre. This weekend at the annual Team Jaffrey RiverFest, the theatre will hold auditions for people of all ages to star in a new video commercial promoting the soon-to-be-built Park Theatre in Jaffrey, New Hampshire. The auditions will be held at the site of RiverFest in downtown Jaffrey from 11 am to 1 pm on Saturday, July 29.
Each audition will be videotaped. Scripts and cue cards will be available and individuals who audition will be asked to improvise as well. Participants are asked to bring an ID card (drivers license, school/work ID, etc.) with them. Children under the age of 18 will need their parent or guardian to sign the release form.

About The Park Theatre
The Park Theatre first opened in Jaffrey in 1922 and was the center of community life as a movie and vaudeville house for 54 years until it closed in 1976. Purchased by The Park Theatre, Inc. in 2006, it will be rebuilt as a state-of-the-art film and performing arts center, featuring two auditoriums seating 485, presenting movies, live theatre (including children’s productions), concerts, and lectures as well as offering a place for business and community gatherings for the Monadnock Region and its 100,000 residents, school districts and dynamic artistic community. The new theatre is scheduled to be opened in 2018.
The Park Theatre operates the
River Street Theatre, a small live entertainment and movie venue located adjacent to the construction site as an interim theatre until the new Park Theatre opens.
