OpenStage Theatre
holds auditions for its 2012-2013 season
FORT COLLINS, CO -- OpenStage Theatre & Company will hold screening auditions for 3 of its 2012-2013 season shows on Saturday, June 16.
Audition appointments are required and should be made by calling (970) 484-5237 or emailing info@openstage.com. Auditioners should come prepared with a 2-minute monologue, any genre. Headshots and resumes are required.
The June 16 screening auditions will be for “Wit” by Margaret Edson (performing Sept, 1 to 29, 2012), “Bullshot Crummond” by Diz White et al (performing Jan. 5 to Feb. 2, 2013) and “Amadeus” by Peter Shaffer (performing Feb. 16 to Mar. 16, 2013).
Auditions for the season production of “The Rocky Horror Show” by Richard O’Brien (performing Oct. 27 to Nov. 24, 2012) will be held in July 2012. Auditions for the remaining 2 shows of the season, “Noises Off” by Michael Frayn (performing Mar. 29 to Apr. 27, 2013) and “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” by William Shakespeare (performing June 1 to 29, 2013), will be held this fall.
The 2012-2013 season marks OpenStage Theatre’s fortieth anniversary. The season shows were selected by OpenStage Theatre’s audience and community through an online “Best of 40 Years of OpenStage Theatre” survey.
