New Audition Dates for Night At the Wax Museum at The Village Theatre Company!
Due to last week's storm, auditions have been rescheduled. New dates and times are:
Thursday, January 7 from 7 - 8 PM
Sunday, January 12 from 4 - 5 PM
Village Theatre Company invites all interested actors and actresses age 10 and up (adults are welcome, too!) to audition for this comic romp through the wackiest wax museum in history!
School's out for summer, but not for six unlucky students who don't know much about history - they have to re-take the class in summer school. Though the student's eyes glaze over with boredom, adventures begin when the wax figures come to life and the students embark on a search for treasure hidden in the museum with such characters as Cleopatra, King Henry VIII, Butch Cassidy, Blackbeard and Lizzie Borden!
Please bring a list of shows you have been in, as well as a head shot or close-up photo of your face. You should be prepared to perform a short song and a very short scene or monologue by yourself. You will also read/act in a group. We do our best to keep you for only as long as you are needed, but please plan on at least 30 minutes.
Auditions can be nerve-wracking, but remember to take a deep breath and smile. Everyone in the room is there rooting for you and just wants to see you do your best!
