Open Casting Call in NYC and NJ for Axelrod Performing Arts Center's 'High School Musical' Summer Theater Intensive

Lane Napper, along with a team of Axelrod PAC professionals, will be holding eight-hour classes and rehearsal on weekdays at the Axelrod Performing Arts Center in Deal Park, NJ - only five minutes from downtown Asbury Park! In addition to performing the musical for four performances (July 2
9, August 1, 2 and 5), participants will be coached on preparing for stage and TV auditions including such topics writing resumes, acquiring professional headshots, finding an agent, projecting a professional demeanor with directors, producers and casting agents. In addition, stage and TV professionals will be present to meet the cast and to participate in a Q&A with the students and parents.
“Being able to work on High School Musical Summer Intensive is the type of job one can dream about,” says Napper. “Creating the energy, vibe, while staying true to the original is a challenge I feel blessed to be taking,” says Napper.
This Summer Intensive is open to students ages 13 and up and is limited to 35 participants. Tuition per student is $1800. Scholarships available.
Lane Napper is a professional acting and dialogue coach, dance instructor, choreographer, director and actor. He has taught acting workshops all over the United States training children and adults, beginners and advanced students, Broadway to Hollywood with his fun, yet professional acting style and techniques. TV and Hollywood studios (such as Warner Bros., Touchstone, Nickelodeon, CBS, Discovery Channel, Disney and Fox-TV), have hired Lane directly to coach their clients. He has appeared on Nickelodeon's “Victorious” (as guidance counselor Lane Alexander) and “iCarly” (as Ernie, Sam's former Tap teacher). His choreography has been seen on “Game Shakers”, “Henry Danger”, “Sam and Cat”, “Victorious,” “iCarly,” “Drake and Josh,” “Zoey 101,” “Suddenly Susan,” “Nikki” and many others.
