An original new play is looking to cast two actors for three (or more) performances as part of the Thespis Theater Festival at the Cabrini Repertory Theater in New York, NY.
FAUX SNOW

The playwright describes the piece:
“Daydreams, desires, and delusions collide with reality in “Faux Snow” as two drastically different romantic hopefuls, Royd and Marquette, journey across country in a post-college road trip. We live in both the gritty reality and their fantastical imaginations, where all attempts to communicate thrive. “Faux Snow” breaks down those exploratory moments of beauty, of danger, of shock, and of destruction.”
We are looking to cast both roles in this exciting new two-hander.
ROLES:
ROYD (early-mid 20s) – lost, a guy who naturally becomes obsessed and can’t let go, wants to find a new obsession, a new beautiful relationship.
MARQUETTE (early-mid 20s) – quirky with a fantastical imagination that often haunts her. Just graduated college, dealing with her parents’ divorce. More than anything, she wants the thrilling romance she grew up seeing on TV.

Rehearsals will begin mid-July.
The initial festival performances are:
Wednesday, August 21st at 9 PM
Saturday, August 24th at 9 PM
Sunday, August 25th at 9 PM
Must also be available Sunday, September 8th and Monday, September 9th for a possible fourth performance. The festival awards a financial prize of 500 dollars to Best Actor on Monday, September 9th at an invite-only award ceremony.
This is a non-union production.
Depending on the box office sales, payment may become an option.
