NORTH SHORE MUSIC THEATRE SEEKS TALENTED LOCAL GIRLS
TO PLAY ANNIE AND THE ORPHANS IN UPCOMING
“ANNIE”
Auditions set for March 27, 2012
Beverly, MA-- The award-winning North Shore Music Theatre (NSMT) is looking for talented girls, ages 6-15 of all types and ethnicities, who are great singers, dancers, and actresses to play Annie and her orphan friends in the upcoming production of ANNIE, playing July 17 – July 29. Auditions are set for March 27. Sign in starts at 2:30. Auditions begin at 3pm and end at 7pm. Just bring your talent, personality and spirit!
All those children auditioning for roles in ANNIE need to bring dance shoes or sneakers, and comfortable clothes, as we will teach dance steps to all of the children. Also, please prepare up to 32 bars of a traditional musical theatre song (it can be a song from Annie). Please bring sheet music. A pianist will be provided. Callbacks are scheduled for March 28 from 3 - 8pm, if needed.
Parents please note, Annie and the orphans will be required to attend rehearsals in New York City as well as Beverly in the weeks before the production. Schedule specifics will be available at the time of the audition.
There are no fees involved to be in either production. All auditions will be held in NSMT’s Theatre Arts and Education Building behind the theatre at 62 Dunham Rd., Beverly, MA. For specific directions, please visit our website:
