AUDITIONS
for
Our Young Adult Production
A Chorus Line
PLEASE NOTE:
Must be in high school or look like a high school student to audition.
(Ages 18 and under, if age 18 must still be in high school.)
PERFORMERS AND FAMILIES MUST UNDERSTAND THE SHOW WILL BE PRESENTED AS ORIGINALLY WRITTEN AND CONTAINS MATURE SUBJECT MATTER AND ADULT LANGUAGE.
Director has complete discretion with all casting.
A Chorus Line is a strong dancing show. You must have dance experience and be able to move very well to be considered for the cast.

Recital Hall
(Please note, this is NOT where CPM usually performs.)

What to do:
1. Prepare 16 measures or one verse and one chorus of a song that shows off your voice the best.
2. Bring the sheet music with you. You may use a karaoke cd (no vocals).
3. You may or may not be asked to read from the script. Not all roles in A Chorus Line have dialogue.
4. List all possible conflicts with the rehearsal schedule on your audition form. (Rehearsals are usually three weeknights and a block of time on Saturday and/or Sunday.) We would prefer NO CONFLICTS the week of 4/26 - 5/2/14.
DANCE AUDITION
Wear dance attire that you can move freely in.
Wear either Jazz shoes or Jazz tennis shoes.
Character shoes are acceptable if you can move well in them.
No socks, regular shoes, Uggs, flip flops, or sandals.
Performance Dates
May 3, 4, 10, 11*, 17, 18, 2014
Performance times are 1:00pm except 5/11 where there is an additional 4:00pm show.
Actor call time on performance dates is 10:00am
