Colorado Ballet opens its 56th season with one of the greatest classical ballets of all time, Swan Lake. A timeless story of unrequited love, featuring Tchaikovsky’s classic score performed live by the Colorado Ballet Orchestra, complete with grand sets and elaborate costumes. Watch our lead athletes at work as one female dancer portrays both Odette (the beautiful princess turned into a swan) and Odile (the evil black swan)—a feat that is extremely challenging both psychologically and physically. Will it end in romance or tragedy? Whether you are a die-hard ballet lover or have never seen Swan Lake before, you don’t want to miss this popular ballet.
