She Kills Monsters is a send-up to role-playing games like Dungeons and Dragons. While Agnes Evans is packing up her childhood home, she stumbles upon her late sister’s role-playing notebook. She soon finds herself on a journey of discovery and action-packed adventure in an imaginary world where she battles and befriends the strange and fantastic monsters her sister, Tilly, created. In this high-octane dramatic comedy laden with homicidal fairies, nasty ogres and 90s pop culture, playwright Qui Nguyen offers a heart-pounding homage to the geek and warrior within us all. NOTE: Intended for ages 16+. Violence, adult language and situations.
