Colorado Ballet opens its 54th season with A Midsummer Night’s Dream, an enchanting presentation of Shakespeare’s classic filled with mischief, romance and comedy. This fanciful production features choreography by Christopher Wheeldon and a score by Felix Mendelssohn, performed live by the Colorado Ballet Orchestra and the Colorado Children’s Chorale. Between the festive costumes, majestic scenery, meddlesome fairies and crisscrossed young lovers, this ballet is pure magic.
