M. Bruch: Violin Concerto No.1 in G minor, Op.26

B. Bartók: Concerto for Orchestra
Apart from “the three Bs” – Bach, Beethoven and Brahms, there’re many other great “initial Bs” in the history of classical music, who produced many masterpieces, like Bruch’s First Violin Concerto and Bartók’s Concerto for Orhcestra. This concert also features Karen LeFrak’s 2009 ballet score Pavlovsk, a Chinese premiere. Led by Long Yu and Glenn Dicterow, the concertmaster of the New York Philharmonic, this is an extraordinary event.
