Every Brilliant Thing tells the story of a child who begins listing the many joys of life to help their mother cope with depression. As the narrative unfolds through humor and warmth, the list evolves along with the child into adulthood, highlighting the resilience of the human spirit. The play is written by Duncan Macmillan and Jonny Donahoe, directed by Kimberly Senior, and stars Jessie Fisher in her Writers Theatre debut. This one-person production invites the audience to engage in a touching exploration of love and life's simple pleasures.
