Mark Strong (Kingsman) heads a cast including Carice van Houten, (Game of Thrones) and Daniel Mays (Line of Duty) in a new darkly comic thriller, Temple. The eight-part Sky original production set in the secret world beneath London is written by playwright Mark O'Rowe (Boy A), and will start production in September for Sky and NOW TV.

Secrets of the Dead: The Woman in the Iron Coffin follows forensic archaeologist Scott Warnasch and a team of historians and scientists as they investigate the remains of a young African American woman who died in the first half of the 19th century. By piecing together the woman's story and the time in which she lived, the film explores a vivid picture of what life was like for free African American people in the North and their connection to the AME church.

A revival of VERONICA MARS is currently in the works at Hulu, according to Variety. Kristen Bell, the star of the original series, is set to return for the revival. The deal has not been finalized and it's not known if any other original series stars would return or what the plot would be.

Michael Pena has been cast as Dora's father in the live-action DORA THE EXPLORER film, according to Variety.

dick clark productions today announced a multi-year partnership between the “American Music Awards” and YouTube Music, marking the first-ever presenting partnership of the show.  The partnership celebrates YouTube Music as a “go-to” music platform for streaming music, videos, live performances and more -- the same type of iconic content that has made the “American Music Awards” a staple event for the world's greatest artists and the world's biggest music fans for 46 years.

Tiffany Haddish will bring her breakout comedic talent to Netflix, the world's leading entertainment service, in an original hour-long stand-up comedy special. Haddish will tape the special in early 2019 and it will premiere globally later in the year.

FOX has renewed interactive music game show BEAT SHAZAM, hosted and executive-produced by Jamie Foxx, for a third season. Foxx will return as host and executive producer for Season Three, along with executive producers Mark Burnett, Jeff Apploff and Barry Poznick. The CW announced the dates for its epic crossover event with The Flash (12/9), Arrow (12/10) and Supergirl (12/11) this year. For the this year's crossover, The Flash and Supergirl will swap time periods, with The Flash crossover airing on Sunday December 9th at 8pm and Supergirl airing Tuesday, December 11th at 8pm.
