(Nov. 10 6:00 PM) - Tickets are on sale now for The 12, the world premiere of a new musical from 100 Years of Broadway creator Neil Berg with a story by Pulitzer Prize playwright and author Robert Schenkkan. The musical that begins where Jesus Christ Superstar left off will debut on Thursday, April 1 at 8 p.m. in the in the Au-Rene Theater at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts.

(Nov. 1 1:30 AM) - The new pop musical-comedy, THE MARVELOUS WONDERETTES, is now playing at the Actors' Playhouse. The show opens the 2009-2010 season and will run through November 1.
(Oct. 30 3:32 PM) - Flora the Red Menace will run from now until November 22 at The Rising Action Theatre in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Flora the Red Menace is a musical with a book by David Thompson, music by John Kander, and lyrics by Fred Ebb. The musical starred Liza Minnelli in the title role in her Broadway debut, for which she won a Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical. This was the first collaboration between Kander and Ebb, who later wrote Broadway and Hollywood hits such as Cabaret and Chicago.
(Oct. 30 2:26 PM) - ubbling Brown Sugar is a musical revue written by Loften Mitchell based on a concept by Rosetta LeNoire and featuring the music of numerous African-American artists who were popular during this period, including Duke Ellington, Eubie Blake, Count Basie, Cab Calloway and Fats Waller. It was nominated for the Tony Award as, "Best Musical." The revue is scheduled through Nov. 22 at Broward Stage Door Theatre, 8036 W. Sample Road, Coral Springs.

(Oct. 25 2:30 AM) - TANGUERA - THE TANGO MUSICAL comes directly from a New York run to make its West Coast premiere at the Au-Rene Theatre in Ft. Lauderdale. The musical will play October 21st through October 25th.
